Sometimes in baseball, you can get the job done all in one inning. That’s exactly what happened on Sunday when the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns (9-4) completed the sweep on Sunday afternoon, shutting out Saint Peter’s (0-4) 4-0.
After three scoreless innings, the Cajuns began to get things done. After Pinero got on base due to a fielding error by the shortstop, Steven Sensley got the Cajuns on the board with an RBI double to right center field.
It took little time for the Cajuns to score as Joe Robbins would hit a slider into the pine trees to score three more runs.
Hogan Harris got his first win of the season throwing five shutout innings, allowing two hits, walked three, and struck out five batters.
The Cajuns will hit the road to take on Louisiana Tech (13-2) on Wednesday with first pitch scheduled for 6 pm.
