The University of Louisiana volleyball team announced their 2020 season schedule on Friday.
This will be the 13th season for volleyball head coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot. The upcoming shortened 2020 season will have 22 matches, with 14 home games at Earl K. Long Gym.
The Ragin’ Cajuns return five starters from last year’s team that won nine of their final 10 regular season games. They posted a 14-16 overall record and went 10-6 in Sun Belt Conference play.
The Sun Belt Conference will use divisional play only in 2020 and will not schedule cross-divisional matches. The Ragin’ Cajuns are scheduled to 16 conference matches. There will be a two-match, home-and-home, with ULM. They will have a three-match series with the rest of the teams on their schedule.
Louisiana will host Houston Baptist in the Sawyer Camillo Memorial Classic Labor Day weekend on Sept. 4-5 to begin regular season play.
The start of conference play will be on Sept. 25-26 against Little Rock on the road.
