The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns (13-9, 4-2 Sun Belt) seem to have gotten their groove back when it comes to hitting. After a rough showing on Saturday, the Cajuns were able to get it going on Sunday and come away with a 7-2 victory in the rubber match against Troy (13-10, 3-3 Sun Belt).
The Cajuns got the game started on the right foot with three runs in the first highlighted by an RBI triple from Joe Robbins.
After the Cajuns increased their lead to 4-0 in the second, Troy got on the board with an RBI triple from Matt Sanders in the bottom of the third.
The Cajuns put the final nail with Fontenot hitting his first home run of the season in the sixth.
Hogan Harris improved to 2-0 on the season allowing one run off of two hits, walked three, and struck out seven in five innings of work.
The Cajuns will travel to Lake Charles on Tuesday to take on McNeese State (17-6) with first pitch set for 6 pm.
