The final day of the 2018 NFL Draft started out for the New Orleans Saints with a focus on building depth in the trenches, more specifically on the offensive line when they picked up Florida State tackle Rick Leonard 127th overall.

Breakdown
Leonard started all 13 games as a senior for the Seminoles after making the transition to offensive tackle back in his junior season. His size will be a big attribute for the Saints depth at the position following the retirement of Zach Strief.
Coach Speak
Rick Leonard: “I’m looking forward to bringing a go get it attitude everyday, that’s how we were at Florida State. I have a real hot motor and I love to work. Ready to just learn, get after it, and work. ”
Grade: C
It’s not the sexiest pick in the world, but it adds some depth on the offensive line. The only real knock on him is that he’s only played the offensive tackle position for two years.
