Saints’ QB Drew Brees to start against Kansas City

Drew Brees is back.

The New Orleans Saints will see their starting quarterback return this Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Drew Brees will be the Saints’ starting QB Sunday vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, source tells ESPN. Saints believe he is fully healthy and doctors have cleared him to play.

Brees was out for the last four games due to a punctured lung and fractured ribs.

The Saints went 3-1 with Taysom Hill as the starting quarterback, with the lone loss coming against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Brees has started in nine games this season. He has thrown for for 2,196 passing yards on 73.5 completion percentage. Brees has recorded 18 touchdowns to only three interceptions.

Kick off between New Orleans and Kansas City is scheduled for Sunday at 3:25 p.m.
