The Adrian Peterson era in New Orleans is over after four games. The New Orleans Saints have traded the veteran running back on Tuesday to the Arizona Cardinals for a conditional draft pick, according to numerous reports.
Peterson wound up falling behind Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara almost from the start of the season, only getting 27 carries for 81 yards through the season.
This mean that we could be seeing more of the rookie running back, who has shown quite a bit of talent at the position, especially on screen plays.
The Saints will take on the Detroit Lions at home this Sunday with kickoff at 12 pm.
