New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas will miss Monday Night Football and it will not be due to injury.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team ruled Thomas out for the Saints matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers after an altercation with a teammate in practice.
Multiple reports said the altercation involved safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
Thomas was listed as questionable for Monday’s game with an ankle injury and now he is officially listed as out.
The Saints star receiver has been practicing on a limited basis for the last two weeks in preparation for a return.
Thomas has only played one game this season, catching three passes for 17 yards in the season-opening loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
