With homefield advantage throughout the postseason, the New Orleans Saints will be sitting some of the starters and the biggest one has to be veteran QB Drew Brees.
Sean Payton announced following practice on Friday that backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will be getting the start at quarterback when the Saints face off against the Carolina Panthers inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. This will be the first start for the former Louisville Cardinal since January 10th, 2016 when the Vikings lost to the Seattle Seahawks when Blair Walsh missed a 22-yard field goal in the NFC Wild Card Game.
