Welcome to My Nightmare

Posted by alanmichael on August 9, 2016 in Featured, Latest News

I am the Acadian Nightmare, so who better to welcome some SEC schools into the college football house of horrors in 2016? Here are some big time teams that will be bathed in blood this season:

Alabama

Bo Scarbrough is a promising running back but is the least touted name in the Bama backfield in a long time. This “Bama can plug any QB in and win” ideology is overblown. Jake Coker was a competitor and pretty damn clutch. Cooper Bateman is not ready for the gauntlet facing the National Champs. This Crimson Tide will turn into a shower of blood and pain! Bama loses once and it’s to LSU and they miss the CFP. Alabama! Welcome to my nightmare!

Tennessee

The highlight of the Vols’ season will be getting to play at Bristol Motor Speedway against Virginia Tech. Other than that, this is a school that has not handled expectations well since Tee Martin and Peerless Price. The Reaper’s hand is extending towards Rocky Top and it’s touching Josh Dobbs’ big beautiful bald head! Dobbs was a good player and a good man. He explored the reaches of the SEC from Knoxville to College Station. Like so many Tennessee quarterbacks before him he will be sucked into the bosom of football hell, never to escape. Dobbs and Vols are in for a nightmare. Goodnite sweet prince!

Ole Miss

Sure Chad Kelly is there but this is a rebuilding year with Rebel icons like Treadwell and Nkemdiche and Tunsil all leaving for the NFL. You don’t need a weatherman to tell you there is a cloud of darkness hovering over Oxford. This could be the beginning of a nightmare Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss may never wake up from.

Florida

With high quality and vaunted recruits on defense the Gators are a formidable foe for anyone. Bad to the bone one might say. Jalen Tabor is a loudmouth and might have bitten off more than he could chew with all of his off season trash talk. Luke Del Rio is your QB bro! Also, star receiver Antonio Callaway is facing sexual assault allegations. Yikes. Offensive Guru Jim McElwain might be even more handicapped on offense than he was during last year’s overachieving rookie season. This nightmare has already begun in Gainesville!
