Breakdown
Natrell Jamerson has a lot of versatility with his experiences at Wisconsin. He started out as a wide receiver before making the jump to cornerback his sophomore season. He started all 14 games last season for the Badgers as a safety racking up 51 total tackles, 3.5 for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
The amount of versatility he has could be huge for the Saints and add some depth to the cornerback position. He can also be a threat on special teams with his speed.
Coach Speak
Natrell Jamerson: “I’m excited to bring my personality. I’m just ready to contribute in the way they want. Excited to be a Saint.”
Overall Grade: B-
It’s a great pick not only for the Saints cornerback depth but for the special teams corps.
