The New Orleans Saints free agency moves have seen a focus on former players. You’ve seen players like Patrick Robinson and Jermon Bushrod sign their contracts with the franchise in recent weeks.
You can add tight end Benjamin Watson to that list, according to Adam Schefter.
TE Benjamin Watson agreed to a one-year deal with the Saints, per source.

While the Saints had been pursuing Jimmy Graham, the 37-year-old tight end is a decent second-place trophy as he had 61 catches for 522 yards and four TDs for the Baltimore Ravens back in 2017. The big question is if the Saints will move on from Coby Fleener with the addition of the veteran tight end on Wednesday.
If that happens, then you should expect to see his workload increase exponentially this season.
