Another preseason poll has come out and it looks to be very much the same when it comes to the LSU Tigers and the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns. Both programs have been put in the top 15 when it comes to D1Baseball.com’s preseason Top 25 poll.
LSU was ranked 5th according to the poll released on Tuesday. This is actually the lowest they’ve been ranked in other presason polls as they had been ranked number two in Collegiate Baseball and Perfect Game. The SEC led all conferences with four teams in the top 10 including Florida, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt.
The Ragin Cajuns stood pat at number 13 in the poll. They had been ranked at that spot according to Perfect Game and were 14th in Collegiate Baseball’s poll. Defending national champion and fellow member of the Sun Belt was ranked two spots above the Cajuns at 11th.
