The first big move for the New Orleans Saints as the new year begins for the NFL involves a former player in Patrick Robinson.
Robinson, who played for the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles last season, is making his return to the Saints. The cornerback is expected to sign a four-year, $20 million deal with the Saints with $10 million guaranteed.
Robinson was drafted by the Saints in the first round back in 2010 and will be part of one of the best secondaries in the league alongside Marshon Lattimore, Ken Crawley, and Marcus Williams.
In his one season with the Eagles, Robinson had four interceptions, defended 18 passes, and recorded one sack.
