Terron Armstead out for 4-6 Months Following Surgery

Posted by clintdomingue on June 16, 2017 in Latest News

Whenever offensive lineman Terron Armstead is healthy. the New Orleans Saints have enjoyed his services. However, he hasn’t been too healthy the last couple of seasons and recent news seems to continue that trend.

Armstead is scheduled for surgery on Monday to repair a torn labrum after suffering an injury on Wednesday. The timetable for his recover is four to six months, making his ideal return towards the middle of the season.

It’s another huge hit for the Saints on the offensive line with center Max Unger on the sidelines after foot surgery.

This could throw the Saints first-round draft pick Ryan Ramczyk into the fire as a part of the starting lineup. However, he hasn’t signed his contract at the time of this writing and that could put either a perennial backup in Khalif Barnes or left guard Andrus Peat in his spot.
