Texas Children’s Houston Open field officially set

The field for the 2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open is officially set, The Houston Astros announced on Monday.

The event, which is set to take place from March 24th-30th with competition rounds from the 27th-30th, will take place at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston and is part of the PGA Tour.

The field is perhaps one of the best in event history, as three of the world’s top golfers will participate. Scottie Scheffler (1), Rory McIlroy (2), and Wyndham Clark (8) headline the star-studded field.

Joining those three are group of well known players that include Rickie Fowler, Padraig Harrington, Gary Woodland, and more.

Stephan Jaeger, Tony Finau, and Lanto Griffin are all prior winners of the event that are in the field, with Jaeger acting as the defending champion.

The entire week is full of events. Here is the official event list:

Monday, March 24
12:30 p.m. – Houston Methodist Monday Pro-Am (closed to the public, open to media)
2:30 p.m. – Coterra First Tee Clinic at Memorial Park (closed to the public, open to media – please RSVP [email protected])

Tuesday, March 25
8:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. – Chevron Hole in One Clinic at Memorial Park (closed to the public, open to media – please RSVP [email protected])
10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – Executive Women’s Day Luncheon hosted by Whitney Crane at the Post Oak Hotel (closed to the public, open to media – please RSVP [email protected])
3:00 p.m. – ConocoPhillips Women’s Clinic at Memorial Park (closed to the public, open to media – please RSVP [email protected])
5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Blue Cross Blue Shield East River 9 Pro/Caddie Challenge Presented by Alliant (closed to the public, open to media – please RSVP [email protected])
5:00 p.m. – Texas Children’s Pro-Am Kickoff Party at Riverhouse Houston (65 Hirsch Rd, Houston, TX 77020) – (Closed to the public, open to media – please RSVP [email protected])

Wednesday, March 26
7:00 a.m. – Wednesday Cadence Bank Pro-Am (closed to the public, open to media)

Thursday, March 27
7:00 a.m. – Gates Open
7:10 a.m. – First Tee Time
8:00 a.m. – Hospitality Venues Open

Friday, March 28
7:00 a.m. – Gates Open (2,500 fans receive a Bucket Hat presented by Cadence Bank)
7:10 a.m. – First Tee Time
8:00 a.m. – Hospitality Venues Open

Saturday, March 29
7:00 a.m. – Gates Open (2,500 fans receive a Cooling Towel presented by Texas Children’s)
8:00 a.m. – Hospitality Venues Open
7:10 a.m. – First Tee Time

Sunday, March 30 – Championship Sunday
7:00 a.m. – Gates Open
8:00 a.m. – Hospitality Venues Open
7:10 a.m. – First Tee Time
4:30 p.m./4:45 p.m. – Trophy Ceremony on 18th Green
After the final putt – Adrian Michael and the Greenway Band perform
